I tried 3 times to quit, 1st time uses patches and gum (useless), 2nd time tried acupuncture (no luck) 3rd time tried Zyban and had a great GP to support me (success). Its now 25 years later and still have not had a cigarette. A huge motivation for me was seeing my Dad (a heavy smoker a lot of his life) in his final years having to use oxygen bottle 24x7. My GP when I finally quit, said to write out a list of 6 things I wanted to buy/do - find relevant $ cost - equate each cost to pkts cigarettes. Each pkt I didn't spoke I'd cross off against that list -- worked a dream, great inspiration - you save a mozza just $$ wise when you quit not to mention positives to health. I stopped one day at a time, even when after a few weeks I'd finally gone 5 days straight without a cigarette I kept my last half empty packet for months. You can do it, it might take a few attempts but you can do it. STOP SMOKING (and VAPING).
